Rapid Systematic Review virtual workshop will be held by Cochrane Iran.

Rapid Systematic Review differs from a Standard Systematic Review; it is conducted over a shorter period of time. However, it is still important to use precise methodology to ensure the use of the best available research evidence.

Date and Time: Monday, 26th August  to Thursday, 29th August  at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Tehran Time

Topics Covered: This workshop will cover the following topics:

  • What is a rapid review, when, and why should it be done?
  • How to write a protocol for a rapid review?
  • Developing a search strategy
  • Screening and selecting studies
  • Data extraction
  • Assessing the risk of bias
  • Synthesizing evidence
  • Rating the certainty of evidence in rapid reviews
  • Reporting rapid reviews

This workshop will not cover topics related to Rapid Qualitative Reviews.
