Health equity is the absence of avoidable and unfair differences in health. Cochrane Reviews can inform decision making by considering the distribution of effects in the population and implications for equity. Equity in all reviews means a consideration not just of the possibility of differential effects, but also consideration of the representativeness of the study populations and applicability of findings to practice and policy.
In these videos, originally part of the Cochrane Learning Live webinar series, Jennifer Petkovic and Vivian Welch present the Cochrane equity content strategy. They comment on the key ways to include equity considerations in your review.
The webinar was delivered in February 2019. Below you will find videos from the webinar along with the accompanying slides to download [PDF].
